When the Bucke (Buck-ee) family moved into their Downers Grove, IL home in 2005, they knew the windows would need to be replaced. The windows were old, ugly, drafty and inoperable. However, there were multiple projects that needed their attention first. In 2015, they decided to forego their vacation and finally put the money toward replacement windows.
They obtained about five bids and discovered there were tremendous differences between products and salespeople. Between unprofessional sales people and high pressure tactics, they were worried they wouldn’t find a local company that had the high quality and integrity they needed. The Bucke’s wanted a window that would last, that would absorb its own cost down the road in longevity, energy efficiency and would be installed right the first time.

The Bucke’s were so thrilled with their new windows as well as the quality and cleanliness of our installation, they called us back two days later to come out and assess their front entry and rear Patio Door. “We didn’t even shop around” for the doors. Jason came back out and helped design a gorgeous wood grained door with decorative glass. He also suggested a sliding patio door in place of the hinged patio door to optimize space and demonstrated how the Restorations Patio Door overcomes every weather related obstacle.
